Man is A Shakti-Worshipper

Whether a man is an atheist or a devoted believer, he is very rarely truly spiritual. The essence of spirituality is that nothing is as it seems. The world is an illusion.

That means that everything is an illusion. Getting better at the illusion will not get us beyond it. Drinking poison does only hastens death.

Yet, many religious people get stuck on the physical manifestations: visions, tongues, sounds, and spiritual powers. Our worldview puts shakti (power) on a pedestal. In the world, shakti is land, wealth, and material possessions. In the religious world, it is leadership, masses of people bowing before you, and powers. We may use God’s name to justify it, but it is not meaningfully different from the materialist.
