I am the pivot
It is an illusion, true. But what is its purpose? How can I make Use of the Illusion? Why do I need to practice presence?
I think the overacting theme to all of this is that I am the leverage point. In fact, I am the constraint Every action I take depends on me, e.g.., how motivated I am and what strategies work for me.
For example, I cannot do complex note-taking systems because I just want to get things on the page. I put a great deal more emphasis on the integration and generation of knowledge over the accumulation of facts. So, my system needs to be simple without excessive managerial overhead. Therefore, I should remain focused on the process of impact or the leverage point without polluting my process with secondary or tertiary concerns.
In this way, I am the constraint but on the flip side I am also the leverage point. I have to consciously decide to make the changes that I do. I am not someone else. I live here in this body with this mind. It is a fundamentally subjective point of view.
I am the common denominator in all that I do.
